Kids’ workshops at your home

Tired of soft play centres and sugar-fuelled chaos? Let your child’s imagination run wild with a Big Whale Art workshop at home to celebrate a birthday or event.

We come to you so no hassle; we set up (and clear up!) and provide aprons, materials and guidance.

Price: £20 per child (minimum 6, maximum 12) for a 60 minute workshop. Age 6+.

The workshop leader is DBS checked and has experience of creating art with children of all ages. The party can be catered to a wide range of abilities and is perfect for children who like to be in a familiar environment.

Build a prehistoric scene complete with exploding volcano, ash, boulders and trees.

Materials: recycled plastic plant saucer, newspaper, tissue paper, acrylic paint, plastic dinosaurs, cardboard, pva glue, homemade play dough.

Undersea 3D painting

Create your own underwater scene with coral and a cave and fill it with your favourite sea creatures.

Materials: canvas, acrylic paint, sponges, felt tip pens, cardboard, paper, pva glue, gem stickers.

Fairy Garden

Create your own beautiful fairy garden with house, pond, bridge and flowers.

Materials: recycled plastic plant saucer, kitchen roll tubes, muffin cases, felt tip pens, lollipop sticks, cardboard seasonal flowers, pebbles.

Ahoy! Decorate and construct a floating pirate ship complete with mast, anchor and treasure chest.

Materials: recycled milk carton, poster paint, chopstick, cork, gem stickers, string, kitchen foil, paper and felt tip pens.

Doodle Hanging Mobile

Craft a mobile from ribbon and bright paper you decorate with your doodles.

Materials: wooden rings, ribbon, paper, felt tip pens, pva glue.

Space Painting

Create an A4 canvas space scene with a stellar atmosphere, planets and rocket.
