Arty workshops at your office

Looking for a fun and inclusive activity for your team? A Big Whale Art workshop led by an experienced local art teacher can help you boost creativity, reduce stress and enhance team work.

We set up (and clear up!) and provide aprons, table covers, materials and guidance. We’re insured and DBS checked.

You can choose one of the three workshop options below or if you have your own idea for a theme, we can work with you to create a bespoke session.

Creating Together

Working in small groups on one canvas, participants will draw and paint one section of a larger art piece.

At the end the canvases will be grouped together to create one large creative piece. This exercise promotes teamwork, creativity, and collaboration, and the end result can be a unique artwork that reflects the collective effort of the team.

Quiet Time

This quiet activity is designed to help employees relax, de-stress, and tap into their creativity.

After practising some watercolour and oil crayon techniques, participants will compose their own scene using botanical references as inspiration.

Materials: watercolour paper, watercolours, oil crayons.

Creativity Boost

Design a unique nature-inspired pattern on a Fairtrade certified cotton tote bag.

A scene is composed on the bag using natural elements which are painted and pressed on to leave an imprint.

Materials: leaves, twigs, flowers, acrylic paint.
